About us
The Akoamhen Initiative was founded in 2021 to help solve some of our public secondary school's toughest challenges. These challenges include shortages of teachers, improving education conditions, teaching the students the ability to develop new skills to solve tough problems, effective collaborations, expressing ideas in new ways to meet tomorrow’s reality and securing a brighter future for every child in our communities.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to hire qualified and experienced part-time teachers to fill shortages due to the lack of experienced teachers in most of our public secondary schools. This on-time and necessary intervention will prepare students for careers and challenges that don’t yet exist. Preparing and equipping the unknown and underprivileged child will also translate to an all inclusive, safe, and healthy future for everyone in our community.
